Kosovo authorities restrict right to freedom of movement over coronavirus

On the evening of 23 March, the Government of self-proclaimed Kosovo decided to restrict the freedom of movement of citizens as a preventive measure. This is reported by Albanian news agency Telegrafi. According to journalists, between 10:00 and 16:00 and from 20:00 to 5:00 citizens are forbidden to go outside and drive. Movements are permitted only for medical purposes, for the production, supply and sale of key food commodities for humans and pets, and for activities related to the fight against the pandemic. An exception is also made for employees of a number of ministries. It is prohibited to gather people in any space closed and open. In the case of funerals, only the closest relatives are allowed to participate.
