The opposition in Montenegro owes its results to the church expert

The opposition of Montenegro, which won the most votes in the parliamentary elections, owes them to the activities of the Serbian Orthodox Church (SPC). This opinion was expressed by political analyst and chairman of the board of directors of the Center for Monitoring and Research Zlatko Vujović on Montenegrin television. In the morning program of TVCG, Vujovic noted that the result of the elections on August 30 reflects the dissatisfaction of citizens with what has happened in the country over the past four years. The law on religious freedom prompted the Serbian Orthodox Church to use its resources, and the pro-Serb electorate to form their own leader, who they did not have. However, the main reason for the protest vote, according to the expert, is dissatisfaction with the socio-economic situation in the country. Recall that according to the results of processing 98.55% of the votes in the parliamentary elections in Montenegro, the coalition around the Democratic Party of Socialists of the Republic Milo Djukanovic leads. It is gaining 35.12%. The opposition coalition For the Future of Montenegro gained the support of 32.54% of voters, the Peace Our Nation coalition gained 12.55%, the Black coalition 5.57% white, the Social Democrats of Ivan Bryovich 4.09%.
